Kalispell Rotary Youth Basketball Referee

We’re looking for referees!

Learn to officiate basketball while helping local kids, and earn up to $30 per game.

Are you passionate about basketball? Share your love of the sport with local kids learning to play the game by becoming a Kalispell Rotary Youth Basketball referee!

Your involvement is a great way to help the community and promote basketball in the Flathead Valley. It’s also a great learning experience for those interested in becoming a member of the Montana Officials Association and officiating high school games.

The best local opportunity to learn basketball officiating!

No experience required, but having played basketball in the past is beneficial.
Training will be provided. Inexperienced referees will be paired with experienced officials who help you learn during games.
Games are four 10-minute quarters with a running clock.
Teams are made up of players in the 3rd through 6th grades.
Pay is $25 per game and an additional $5 per game if you attend all the games you commit to, or give proper notice if you must miss a game.
There are two seasons. Girls season is from September 30th – November 11th. Boys season is from January 13th to February 24th.
